Classics Club 600

classics club Ger Maher and William Flannery

The Classics Club 600 Draw is underway once again. Tickets for the 2019 Draws have been posted out to all of last season’s members who now have the opportunity to renew membership (change of name / change of syndicate members allowed) or let us know that they will not be renewing so that we can offer places to those on our waiting list. There is a facility to renew online (see drop-down menu under coursing below Quick  Results, Draws etc) or you can post tickets back to Davis Road (with cheque or postal order) or give to any committee member. Many thanks for your continued support.

With regard to our waiting list we currently have over 30 names on that list which is probably as many as we will require for the 2019 Draws. The first 15 on this list will receive a blank ticket in the next two weeks and will be asked to complete & return same should they still be interested in taking a place in the 2019 Draw. The others will be contacted should a vacancy arise nearer to the time of the closing date which is January 15th. Anyone wishing to be added to our Classics Club waiting list should e-mail eugene@sportingpress.ie with name and contact details but as previously stated it is unlikely that new applicants will be offered a place until the 2020 draw.

Our photo shows Ger Maher & William Flannery receiving their cheque for €10,000 after drawing Foxhollow Lady in the 2018 Classics Club 600 draw on the Oaks. Killimer Kilrush Coursing Club received €10,000 also thanks to the success of Silent Whisper in the Derby.
