Bereavement Notice

With much sadness we bring news that Mrs Briege Heeney, Newtownbalregan, Dundalk has passed away, wife to Michael and mam to Eimear.
Michael & Eimear are well known to everyone in coursing circles and Michael served as Club Secretary at Dundalk & Dowdallshill for many years.
They are both in our thoughts this evening.
Briege will repose at her home throughout Sunday (March 19th). Directions on
Arriving at St Joseph’s Church, Castletown for 11am Requiem Mass on Monday followed by burial in Lordship Cemetery.
Our sympathy to Michael & Eimear, to Briege’s brothers & sisters and to the extended Heeney & Murphy families.

Our sincere sympathy to the Walsh family, Cavan on the death of Michael (Mickey) earlier today, March 17th.  Even at the age of 94 Michael maintained a huge interest in coursing and he was Chairman of Cavan Coursing Club for 25 years. His son Brian is the current ICC Representative for Cavan CC also.  The family home backs on to the Breffni Park GAA pitch in Cavan Town and Michael was very proud to have played football for Cavan in his younger days.
Pre-deceased by his wife Eileen, He will be much missed by his sons Gerry, Dermot, Brian & Niall; by his daughters Marie & Brenda; by his grand-children, great grand-children, sisters, brother and the extended Walsh family.
Reposing at his residence Rosculligan, Cavan Town this evening (Friday) from 4pm to 9pm and again on Saturday afternoon from 1pm to 5pm. House private from 5pm on Saturday until removal to the Cathedral of St Patrick & St Felim at 8pm.  Requiem Mass on Sunday at 2pm followed by burial in Cullies Cemetery.
